Petition Filing Dates for McHenry County College Trustee Election

Two six-year seats are open for the McHenry County College Board of Trustees in the April 6, 2021 Consolidated Election. Petition filing for Trustee candidates starts at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14. Petitions will be accepted from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in Room B176 at the College from Dec. 14 through Dec. 18, and from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21.

All candidates who file at 8 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14 will be entered in a simultaneous petition filing lottery to determine ballot placement. A date for this lottery, if needed, will be chosen and publicly announced in advance. In addition, all candidates filing between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21 will be entered in a simultaneous petition filing lottery to determine ballot placement. A date for this lottery, if needed, will also be chosen and publicly announced in advance.
