Pottery Workshop with Cory McCrory

Join us for this in-depth art-making experience through Cory McCrory’s take on whimsical pottery, using paper clay. This two-day hands-on workshop will provide participants an opportunity to learn Cory’s unique approach to forming and altering paper clay into fanciful, functional, and hand-built dishes and sculptures while at the same time, learning her unique approach to surface decoration, and glaze application. Cory will demonstrate how she manipulates clay by taking simple slabs and forming them into complex, humorous works of art.
