Congratulations to our Spring Graduates! Your degree or certificate will be mailed to you eight to twelve weeks following the Commencement Ceremony.

Summer Graduates: If you intend to complete your degree or certificate in August, submit your graduation application, online through myMCC by August 1, 2019. To participate in the commencement ceremony, you must complete the graduation application through myMCC, mark "yes" you will attend commencement, and order your cap and gown by August 1, 2019. See for details. Additional information will be emailed to you in September or October.

Students graduating in August or December participate in the Winter Commencement, held on Saturday, December 14.

The Day of the Ceremony

  • Schedule
    • Graduate Check-in: 9 a.m. in Commons area in Building B. Pick up your name card, along with Honor, Veteran, and Volunteer cords (if applicable).
    • Guest Seating: begins at 9 a.m. Tickets are required for guest seating in the gym during the ceremony. Additional guest seating will be available in the Luecht Conference Center.
    • Ceremony: 10 a.m. The ceremony will last approximately one hour. Graduates and guests are expected to remain through the conclusion as a courtesy to other graduates and guests.
    • Reception: join us in the Commons area following the ceremony.

Professional Photography and Videography: Professional photos will be taken of each graduate before and during the ceremony. Empire Photography will email you color proofs for purchase within two weeks after graduation.

MCC will digitally record this event and it will be available for viewing via live stream the day of the ceremony at and on You Tube following the ceremony.

Your Diploma: When you cross the stage, you will receive a diploma cover. Be sure to keep it. Your official degree or certificate will be mailed to you eight to twelve weeks from the end of the semester if all graduation requirements have been met.
