Board of Trustees Meeting Documents 2019-2020
MCC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees who are elected for staggered six-year terms, and one non-voting student trustee who serves a one-year term. As the legislative body of the College District, the Board of Trustees is responsible for the development and adoption of District policies and for making related decisions.
April 23 Board of Trustees Meetings Special Notice
Due to the stay-at-home order from the Governor (Executive Order 2020-10), the MCC Board of Trustees meetings on Thursday, April 23, 2020 will be conducted virtually, as authorized by Executive Order 2020-07.
Members of the public may virtually attend the meetings using a link which will be made available on the day of the Board meeting. Attend virtual board meeting tonight at 6 p.m. via zoom
If any member of the public wishes to provide a public comment for the meetings (final meeting of retiring Board; organizational meeting; first meeting of newly organized Board), please submit the comment in writing (via email) by 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 to the College Public Information Officer at chaggerty@mchenry.edu. All comments will be provided to trustees prior to the meeting and will be reflected in meeting minutes. Public comments that are appropriate, compliant with Board policy, and reasonable in length will be read aloud during public comment.
