Student-Athlete of the Month - September 2015
Kaylee Bischke - Student-Athlete of the Month - April 2016
Kaylee was a 5’6 forward for the 15-16 Scots this past winter. She had a game high 13 points versus JJC and led the team in 3 point shooting percentage at 40%. The team’s third place finish in conference is the best they have placed in 6 years. “Kaylee provided a hard-nosed work ethic and spark off the bench for us all season. She was a vital piece to our team success. Her continuous improvement was due to her no-nonsense approach and determination. Her effort and focus was never in question,” lauds Head Coach Karen Wiley. This past spring Kaylee then took on the softball field as center fielder and catcher for the Scots. She currently is batting .324 with a HR and 5 RBI’s. While participating on two MCC teams, Kaylee manages her time well enough to carry a 4.0 GPA.
“Kaylee is an awesome example of the quality student-athletes we have part of our department. She has worked tirelessly to juggle both athletics and academics with quality and excellence. I am proud of her in so many different ways. She carries herself with a class and maturity, representing MCC in all areas,” adds Director of Athletics Karen Wiley.
