Veterans, Become a First-Time Student at MCC

  1. Apply for Admission
    • Complete the application online and pay the non-refundable $15 admissions application fee or, stop in to the Admissions Office, A262 and complete the application in person to have the application fee waived.
  2. Submit Documents
    • Official high school transcripts
    • Official military transcripts
    • Visit MCC’s Financial Aid Office, A262 and turn in your DD-214 for evaluation
    • Official college transcripts
      • Unofficial college transcripts or copies of grade reports are acceptable if only used for prerequisite reasons.
  3. Apply for Financial Aid and Benefits
  4. Take English, math and reading placement tests in the Testing Center. Some ACT/SAT scores may be used in lieu of placement tests.
  5. Register for Classes
  6. Pay Your Tuition and Fees, if any are owed after benefits applied
  7. Buy Books
