Supervisory Leadership Series Offered at MCC Shah Center[Friday, January 10, 2020]
McHenry County College's Workforce, Community and Business Program is now accepting registrations for the popular Developmental Dimensions International (DDI) Supervisory Leadership Series. This series, taught by DDI certified professional Betty Hartwig, will be held on Wednesdays, Jan. 22 – April 1, from 1–5 p.m. at the MCC Shah Center, 4100 West Shamrock Lane, McHenry.
Making a successful transition from individual contributor to leader requires strong interpersonal skills. In today's highly competitive environment, organizations must be able to jump-start the productivity of their new leaders. The DDI Supervisory Leadership curriculum accelerates the development of these important people skills. This series is appropriate for both new and seasoned leaders. The series’ weekly topics include: Communicating for Leadership Success; Your Leadership Journey; Resolving Workplace Conflict; Delegating with Purpose; Setting Goals and Reviewing Results; Coaching for Peak Performance; Building an Environment of Trust; and Developing Yourself and Others.
Participants can register for individual courses or the entire series. Register for the entire eight course series and receive a discount of 10 percent at $1,260.
