Job Title: Student Employee - Computer Lab Assistant

Students enrolled and eligible for fall and spring semester preferred.

several positions are available! Flexible hours to work with student schedule. Less than 20 hours/wk Monday through Thursday 8:00am-9:30pm Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm Saturday - 8:00am - 1:00pm

Responsibilities:

Monitor activities of the open computer labs, including but not limited to clearing paper jams, loading paper in printers, changing printer toner, keeping the labs neat and tidy, physical security of lab equipment, changing student passwords, reporting technology issues to IT, assist IT team members with project work. Assist students with use of technology equipment and software

Requirements:

Customer service oriented, follow multi-step directions, work independently, basic computer operation knowledge (such as internet browsing, word processing, printing, copy/paste, etc.) Preference given to applicants with more customer service or technology experience.

Learning Objectives:

Experience in this position would be good entry-level work experience for a student pursuing a degree in technology, such as computer information systems, digital media systems, as well as other service oriented fields
