Direct from Las Vegas, Legends In Concert presents dynamic and talented performers recreating the unforgettable concert appearances of these show biz immortals. Using only their natural voice and talent, they create a performance so real, you would swear that these legends are right there in front of you. Surrounded by a dazzling array of singers, dancers, glittering costumes, and sensational lighting, these Legends put on a show as big and as spectacular as any you’ll find on the fabled Las Vegas strip.   • Beautiful, The Carole King Musical —Oriental Theatre, Chicago

    Beautiful tells the inspiring true story of Carole King’s remarkable rise to stardom, from being part of a hit songwriting team with her husband Gerry Goffin, to her relationship with fellow writers and best friends Cynthia Weil and Barry Mann, to becoming one of the most successful solo acts in popular music history. Along the way, she made more than beautiful music, she wrote the soundtrack to a generation. Lunch is on your own before the 2 p.m. matinee. Seating is in the Loge Section.

  • Chicago’s Houses of Worship

    Chicago has many historic and architecturally rich churches with beautiful stained glass, stencil work, mosaics and ecclesiastical art. The types and variety of churches range from humble storefront affairs to grandiose medieval-style cathedrals. On this tour, you’ll visit three of Chicago’s great religious institutions, and you’ll be able to make comparisons between architectural styles and interiors that range from the traditional to the ornate. Not only will you be awed by the magnificent structures that you see, you’ll also hear about different faiths, the history of the church, and the variety of different religions in Chicago. A delicious lunch at Tuscany is included with your tour.

  • Chicago’s Chinatown Tour

    Spend the day in Chicago’s Chinatown and enjoy the exotic sounds, smells and sights in this colorful ethnic neighborhood. Tour the Chinese American Museum of Chicago with artifacts showing experiences of Chinese Americans in the Midwest. Enjoy the fascinating grocery stores and gift stores that are stacked to the ceilings with foreign spices, herbs, wind chimes, oriental teakwood furniture, cooking utensils, porcelain tea sets, and other unusual foods and goods. Lunch will be at House of Fortune, a neighborhood restaurant offering a delicious selection of traditional Chinese food. You can stop in at a Buddhist temple or tea shop and visit the Chinese Christian Church that is over 80 years old. A stop at the Golden Dragon cookie factory is included, where you can stock up on bargain-priced almond and fortune cookies.

  • Rich and Famous Downton Abbey Tour—Chicago

    Travel back in time to the Gilded Age when you visit the Driehaus Museum, once the home of banker Samuel Nickerson’s family, in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. A special exhibit, Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times features more than 35 costumes from the popular British television series Downton Abbey. The award-winning costumes are produced by renowned London costume house Cosprop Ltd. Many use original fabrics and embellishments from the early 20th century, while others are re-created from old photographs, paintings, patterns, and magazine pictures. The exhibition offers an immersive new perspective on the show’s most memorable characters, both upstairs and down, while chronicling the great changes taking place in Britain during the tumultuous early 20th century. Visit St. James Cathedral, the oldest Episcopal church in Chicago, with Victorian period stained glass windows and stenciling given by the city leaders who were members. Enjoy lunch (included) at 437 Rush in the center of the Gold Coast.

  • Anderson Japanese Gardens –Rockford, IL

    Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford, IL are ranked among the highest quality and most authentic Japanese gardens in North America. With grace, elegance, and gentle awareness, the gardens exemplify the Japanese cultural heritage of respectful humility in service to people of all cultures. Included in the day is a guided tour and buffet lunch.

  • Taste of Geneva—Geneva, IL

    Spend the day with About Tours in the picture-postcard village of Geneva, located in the Fox River Valley west of Chicago. With a village full of historic Victorian homes and buildings by Frank Lloyd Wright, unique shops and community spirit, Geneva will charm you. Your day includes a tour highlighting the history and architecture of Geneva by a local expert with a stop at the Geneva History Museum. Other stops along the way will include Graham’s Chocolates, one of Oprah’s favorites, where you can watch candy being made; The Spice House, with a presentation on the spices available: and a wine tasting at the Galena Cellars Winery. Lunch will be a real treat at picturesque Villa Verona. No tour to Geneva would be complete without some time to browse at The Little Traveler, where many small boutiques are located within one historic house.

  • Lake Michigan Cruise Tour—Chicago
