About the play - Columbinus
A play sparked by the April 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado, columbinus probes the psychological warfare of alienation, hostility and social pressure that goes on in high schools across America. Created by The United States Theatre Project, written by Stephen Karam and P.J. Paparelli and directed by Jay Geller, columbinus weaves together excerpts from discussions with parents, survivors and community leaders in Littleton as well as diaries and home video footage to bring to light the dark recesses of American adolescence.
Tickets are $15 for general public and $10 for MCC students, faculty/staff, alumni and senior citizens. To reserve a seat or for more information, call Jay Geller at (815) 455-8746 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
