Keeping you on Track

Retention Alert is one of many tools that MCC uses to keep you on track to achieving your goals. This system allows faculty to tap into whatever resource is needed to assist a student who’s facing challenges. Once we know a student is experiencing difficulties, we're ready to help in a host of ways - academic counseling, personal development courses and workshops to improve performance in classes and enhance the college experience.

Student Success Workshops

Each semester we offer a variety of free workshops featuring topics like note taking, motivation and procrastination, and time management. Enjoy as snack and learn a few new test taking tips or polish up your study skills.

Free Tutoring

Drop in to the Sage Learning Center or make an appointment to work with a one of our skilled tutors and keep your grades on track. We offer free tutoring in many subjects at convenient times.

Veterans' Services

MCC's veteran's affairs representative can help you navigate your veteran education benefits. Our student veterans resource center is the perfect place to meet up with other veterans, learn about grant and scholarship applications, get post-traumatic stress disorder counseling and more.

Special Needs

Are you eligible for Special Needs support services? We offer special needs support services ranging from classroom aides and note takers to sign language interpreters and assistive equipment.

Thinking of transferring? Wondering which courses to sign up for next semester? Meet with one of our knowledgeable advisors and register with confidence!

Counseling

Meet with an MCC counselor to discuss topics like choosing a major, exploring a career path, improving your self-esteem or overcoming test anxiety.

Career Services

Whether your applying for your first job or ready to move in a new direction, Career Services can help you with career planning, resume writing and interviewing skills.

New-Student Orientation

New-Student Orientation is a great chance for you to get an overview of MCC student services, develop an understanding of degree, certificate and transfer options, tour the campus and meet with an advisor to choose classes and register. Walk away with a feel for MCC before your first day of class!

MCC 101 - The College Experience

We offer a great introductory course called MCC 101. It's the perfect way for you to learn about all the resources MCC has in place to support you.

On-Site Childcare

Feel confident that your children are thriving in a positive learning environment in our state-licensed Children's Learning Center while you're in class. We accept Child Care Financial Assistance through 4-C.
