Preference will be given to students with documented disabilities pursuing a degree or certificate, hold a 2.5+ G.P.A., be willing to serve as an ambassador for the MCC Special Needs programs, enroll for six (6) or more credit hours per semester, and meet with an MCC advisor during the semester to assess progress toward academic goals.
The award amount if determined by the Finance Committee of the Friends of MCC Foundation Board of Directors. No payment made to the student directly. The award monies may only be used for books (purchased from the MCC Bookstore) and fees (i.e. Registration, Course, Lab, and Technology) for the semester awarded.
- Letter of recommendation.
- Proof of cumulative GPA.
Applicants must complete and submit the MCC Scholarship Application, a letter of recommendation from an instructor, a letter of participation from the Special Needs Program, and proof of G.P.A.
