Applicant must complete and submit the MCC Scholarship Application. Applicant must be enrolled in a minimum of (6) credit hours. Applicant must maintain a 2.5 GPA and provide proof of GPA. Applicant must be currently enrolled in the Fire Science Program at MCC. Preference will be given to a resident of the Huntley Fire Protection District but others are encouraged to apply. Applicant must provide an essay (200 words or more) describing their career goals of becoming a firefighter and their academic goals.
The recipient will receive up to $1000.00 in award monies for the semester awarded. No payments made to students directly. The award money may only be used for tuition, books (purchased from the MCC Bookstore) and additional registration fees for the semester awarded.

Applicant must submit the following: MCC Scholarship Application with signature and date, proof of enrollment in six (6) credit hours (minimum), proof of enrollment in MCC Fire Science Program, proof of 2.5 GPA and written essay (200 word minimum).
