Applicant must complete and submit the MCC Scholarship Application. Applicant must maintain a 2.75 cumulative GPA and provide proof of GPA. Must be a resident of McHenry County. Applicant must write a 300-500 word essay on the following: What can you do to make McHenry County College welcoming to LGBTQA students/faculty/staff/residence?
The award decisions are made by the Friends of MCC Foundation Scholarship Review Committee, a member of the Pride Club Governing Board, Pride Club Advisor and Coordinator of Student Activities. The recipient will receive up to $495.00 in award monies for the semester awarded. No payments made to students directly. The award monies may only be used for tuition, books (purchased from the MCC Bookstore) and fees (i.e., Registration, Course, Lab, and Technology) for the semester awarded.
