Applicant must complete the MCC Scholarship Application. Applicant must be pursuing an associate degree or certificate at MCC. Applicant must provide proof have a 2.5 GPA (high school) or 2.75 GPA (college). Applicant must be a resident of the McHenry County. Applicant must have graduated from a high school within MCC district 528. Applicant must present two letters of recommendation from high school instructors/administrator or current MCC instructors. Applicants must complete a two page (double spaced) essay outlining his/her educational and career goals. Applicant must provide evidence of financial need by applying for FAFSA. Preference will be given to applicants who are receiving no other form of financial aid.
The scholarship recipient will receive award monies for full tuition for the semester awarded. No payments made to students directly.

Applicant must provide the following: MCC Scholarship Application Form with signature and date, proof of 2.5 GPA (High School) or 2.75 GPA (College), FAFSA completion, proof of residency in McHenry County, two (2) letters of recommendation and essay.
