MCC Promise Questions and Answers
What are the new Spring 2010 guidelines for MCC Promise students?
- Maintain full-time status of 12 credit hours. The student understands he/she may take more credit hours at his/her own expense.
- Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA for the Spring 2010 semester.
- Complete 16 hours of community volunteer service during the Spring 2010 semester.
- The Foundation will reimburse the student’s tuition pursuant to the same payment method used by the student at the time of registration.
- Submit a signed copy of the MCC Promise Re-Affirmation Agreement. Re-Affirmation agreements will be mailed to all current MCC Promise students on October 22, 2009 and must be completed by Friday, December 18, 2009.

To enable accurate monitoring of activity, information regarding volunteer hours is shared between the Friends of McHenry County College Foundation, United Way of Greater McHenry County Volunteer Center and the Volunteer Coordinator of the MCC Promise program.
