Friday, August 21, 2015 MCC Names Education to Empowerment Scholarship Recipients

Four McHenry County College female students were named recipients of the prestigious Education to Empowerment scholarship award, sponsored by the Friends of MCC Foundation. The recipients are: Lilyanna "Layla" Anbar, Laura Gathman, Lorrie Janeczko and Anne Vogrinc. Each recipient will receive up to $4,000 this school year and up to $4,000 during the first semester of their junior year.

Monday, August 03, 2015 McHenry County College to Host Auditions for "The Hot L Baltimore"

The Black Box Theatre at McHenry County College will host auditions for "The Hot L Baltimore" by Lanford Wilson and directed by Brock Fisher. Auditions will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 31 and Tuesday, Sept. 1 in the Black Box Theatre, located in Building E on campus. Roles are available for seven women and six men between the ages of 19 and 70. Students and community members are invited to audition.
