Thursday, June 30, 2016 MCC Student Veterans Awarded $10,000 for Vet Center Renovation

McHenry County College student veterans were awarded $10,000 to renovate the Student Veterans Resource Center. The grant is part of a nationwide Vet Center Initiative by Student Veterans of America and The Home Depot Foundation to support veteran centers on campuses.

McHenry County College announces the appointment of Wally Warner as head softball coach beginning the 2016-2017 academic season. Most recently, he has served as the head varsity softball coach at Johnsburg High School in the area’s Fox Valley conference for six seasons.

Tuesday, June 28, 2016 McHenry County College Plans Expansion for Science Lab Space to Meet Student Learning Needs

The McHenry County College Board of Trustees unanimously approved a construction project to create additional space for science classes and labs that will better meet the needs of students in a variety of programs, including sciences, engineering, and health careers. The construction plan calls for a 31,670 square-foot, two-story building adjacent to Building E on the College’s Crystal Lake Campus.
