McHenry County College and the Friends of MCC Foundation have announced the recipients of the 2014 Distinguished Alumni Award. This year's recipients are: Mary Miller of Crystal Lake, CEO/President of Miller Verchota, Inc. in Crystal Lake; Mary Nader of McHenry, Associate Judge of the 22nd Judicial Circuit, McHenry County, Illinois in Woodstock; and Sandra Pierce of Huntley, CEO/President of Phoenix Woodworking in Woodstock.

Two MCC students won top awards in the 2014 Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference Juried Art Exhibit hosted by MCC through April 8 in Gallery One and Gallery Two in the MCC Library.
