MCC to Host Auditions for "August: Osage County"[Thursday, March 29, 2018]
The Black Box Summer Theatre at McHenry County College is proud to announce auditions for “August: Osage County” by Tracy Letts and directed by Jay Geller. The play is winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award.

Auditions will be take place from 6-8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 23 and 24. Those auditioning are asked to prepare a one- to two-minute dramatic monologue. No appointments are necessary. Callbacks will be held from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, April 26.
Roles are available for seven women and six men and all roles are open. Actors will receive a stipend. Rehearsals will take place from 6-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday. “August: Osage County” opens June 8 and will continue June 9, 10, 15-17, 22-24 with evening performances beginning at 7 p.m. and Sunday performances at 2 p.m.
