Cloud-Based QuickBooks Software Training Available

[Wednesday, February 28, 2018]

The McHenry County College Workforce Community and Business Programs offers QuickBooks® Online (QBO) accounting software training, which is the cloud computing version of the program, from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesdays, March 14 through April 11. The instructor-led, five-course series is a small-business accounting program that makes accounting easy with tools to organize your finances all in one place.

QuickBooks Online is once again PC Magazine Editors' Choice for small business accounting software, based on its flexible functionality, its user experience, and its extensibility. The cloud version is a distinct product from the desktop version of QuickBooks, and has many features that work differently than they do in desktop versions. QBO can be accessible via an iPhone, a BlackBerry, and an Android web app.

QuickBooks enables the user to track bills, invoices and estimates in one easy to use accounting software solution. These hands-on courses allow the user to become confident and save time and money by eliminating trial and error learning. Basic accounting and computer skills are necessary for program success.

Cost for the series is $495. Use course code: NTC C50 002 when registering. If you are wondering if this program is right for you, register for the QuickBooks Online Overview course to learn firsthand the features and benefits of the program. The individual course is scheduled for March 14, using course code: NTC C44 002 to register. The individual course fee is $99.

The Workforce, Community and Business Programs courses are also available for on-site training at a company's facility and customizable for their needs. To register, contact the MCC Registration Office at (815) 455-8588 or register online at www.mchenry.edu/myMCC and select “Register for Workforce and Community Development” classes.
