MCC to Offer Sustainable Building Construction Class[Tuesday, February 6, 2018]
McHenry County College is offering an eight-week credit class related to sustainable construction for the building industry. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate Credential class (CMT 290) takes place from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, from March 15 through May 10 in Room E105.
This class prepares students to pass the LEED Green Associate credential, an industry-recognized qualification. Students will learn the LEED process and improve their awareness of general environmental sustainability. This class serves as a precursor to more advanced LEED credentials and can be applied toward MCC’s Building Codes Certificate and the Associate in Applied Science degree in Construction Management.
