MCC Announces Founding Faculty Scholarships Available for 2017-18[Friday, February 3, 2017]
Three Founding Faculty Scholarships, each worth 60 credit hours of tuition at McHenry County College beginning in academic year 2017-2018, are available for MCC students or high school graduates, including June 2017 graduates. The scholarship is intended for full-time students who enroll in at least 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester and maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average while at MCC. The award may be used for tuition only.
The Founding Faculty Scholarships are awarded in recognition of the contribution of retired founding faculty members David B. Hill, John D. Konitzer, and Erwin Cornelius.
Deadline to apply is Feb. 17. Applications must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office, Room A262 at McHenry County College. In addition to required documents, applicants must also submit a typed short essay of between 250-300 words, describing their most influential teacher.
