Starting a Business in Illinois: This two-hour seminar is a must for pre-venture entrepreneurs considering starting a business in Illinois. Multiple aspects of business ownership will be discussed including the legal aspects of starting a business in Illinois, the importance of your business plan and handouts regarding agencies to contact. Fee: $25.

NEW - Market Research for Small Business – Know your Industry, Customers, and Competition:
Marketplaces are dynamic—constantly changing. Is your marketplace shrinking, stable, or growing? Market research can help you answer these questions. A hands-on approach to market research will help you know more about your industry, customers, and competition, to compete effectively. Fee: $35.
