MCC to Host "Eisenhower: A Life" History Lecture April 29

Listen to unique insights about the 34th president and American icon, Dwight D. Eisenhower, during a multimedia presentation by Barry Bradford, presidential award-winning storyteller, historian and teacher, who will present "Eisenhower: A Life," from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. on April 29 in the Luecht Conference Center at McHenry County College.

Bradford will feature Eisenhower's role as supreme commander of U.S. Forces during World War II, as the first commander of NATO, and then as U.S president. He will also highlight Eisenhower’s amazing, dramatic and little-known personal life.

The lecture is free and open to the public. The college is located at 8900 U.S. Hwy. 14 in Crystal Lake. This lecture concludes the spring history lecture series sponsored by the MCC's Workforce and Community Development Division, Student Life and Multicultural Programs.
