About the Mercedes-Benz Certification

What Will I Learn?

  • You’ll be thoroughly trained in information specific to Mercedes-Benz vehicles and get a better picture of the technology in modern luxury vehicles overall.
  • Students who complete the program will receive a registered technician number which will allow them to complete warranty repairs if employed at a Mercedes-Benz dealer.

How Does the Program Work?

  • The Mercedes-Benz MB Campus Program curriculum is integrated into MCC’s Advanced Automotive Certificate and AAS programs. The certification cannot be earned separately.
  • Students take all classes at MCC and do not need to travel off-site for their studies.

What Will it Do for Me?

  • You can add this credential to your resume showing your dedication to furthering your education, even if you do not pursue a position at a Mercedes-Benz dealership.
  • It will make you stand out in the crowd from other applicants. MCC is one of only six college campuses in Illinois to offer this certification—and one of only 65 in the United States!

Are There Any Prerequisites for the Program?

  • There are no prerequisites to join the Automotive programs at MCC. No prior experience working on cars is required.
