McHenry County College is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its founding in 1967. Among many activities are several interactive projects to engage our current students, alumni, and supporters in the community.
MCC 40th Anniversary, an online journal or blog, has been created to share the historical highlights of the college and to solicit your comments. Alumni, current students, community members, faculty and staff are invited to share their experiences, memories, hopes and dreams during this year-long celebration through postings to this online journal.

Iris Bryan, a long-time advocate of the college and member of the original college founding committee, will serve as our journal moderator. Iris will post excerpts from the college's history and is eager to visit with you by e-mail at 40years@mchenry.edu

Now’s the time to rummage through those old photos and keepsakes in search of items that can be displayed during our anniversary events.
Old baseball uniforms, signage, photos, awards, trophies, souvenirs...all are welcomed!
We’re collecting these items in the Office of Marketing and Public Relations, A-136.
Please identify and label any items you would like returned with your name. Tell your friends and family, too!
