Articulate your information need:The first step in creating an effective search is
translating your need for information into a specific question or
statement. Think about your purpose for seeking out information and what
questions you need to answer. For example, a topic like cell phone safety
might translate into the following questions: Do cell phones cause car
accidents? How many accidents were caused by people using their cell
phones while driving? Do any states have laws prohibiting the use of cell
phones while driving?
