Periodical indexes, or Article Databases as we call them on our web page, are used to locate magazine,
newspaper, and journal articles. These
databases make it easy to quickly locate articles from a wide
variety of sources on almost any topic imaginable.
Some of the many
advantages of online periodical databases are:
 | More flexible searching capabilities |
 |
Quick access to
many full-text resources |
 | Information is updated frequently |
 | Ability to email and print full-text articles |
 |
Many of the databases are
available from off-campus. |
To access these databases from off-campus, use the Off Campus Access Menu on the library web page, choose a database, and enter the username and password (8-digit student ID and network password) you use when logging on to campus computers.
