Library Circulation Policies

Library Cards

Library cards are issued upon request at the Circulation Desk. Obtain your library card by completing a brief application. College District residents must prove residency by showing a current valid Illinois driver's license.

Circulation of materials

General Stacks:	21 day loan period	renewable*	$3 flat overdue fee
Periodicals:	7 day loan period	not renewable	$3 flat overdue fee
Reserves: (including telecourse tapes)	various loan periods	most are not renewable	$3 flat overdue fee

*Renewals for items from the General Stacks may be made by phone at (815) 455-8533.

Replacement cost, $15 processing fee, and $3 fine will be charged for non-returned items.

A book depository is located to the left of the display case outside the Library doors for returns when the college is open.
An outdoor book depository is located at the southwest corner of Buildings A & B.
