If you are an MCC Student , you may submit a reference question via email using the form below. We aim to respond within 24 hours of receipt of your question, longer on weekends and holiday periods.

Through email, a Reference Librarian ...

• can supply brief answers to simple questions.
  
• can provide research guidance and suggest sources to consult on your topic.

The librarian will inform you if your question is too involved to answer via email, and will suggest you come to the library for a face-to-face consultation.

You may also call the reference desk to speak to a librarian directly at 815-455-8762. Please be sure to fill out the form completely.

To access the library databases from off-campus, click on the Off Campus Access Menu from the library web page, select your database, and enter your campus login (same username and password you use to log in to computers on-campus). Online MCC students who can not come to campus to establish their campus login may call the library Reference Department at 815-455-8762 or the library Technical Services Department at 815-455-8709 and we will set up your campus login for you.
