MCC has reached the midpoint of its 2011-2015 Educational Master Plan. Following the adoption of the 2013-2018 Strategic Plan and AQIP Systems Portfolio, the EMP team seeks faculty, staff, and administrator input for an update of the EMP's key tenets: Increased Access, Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and Student Success.
Data from county, state, and national levels will be updated, as will enrollment and completion numbers. Are there other ways MCC has fulfilled the tenets of the Educational Master Plan? What initiatives since 2011 have furthered our objectives? How have other plans (facilities, technology, professional development, strategic, and sustanability) been informed and reinforce the Educational Master Plan moving forward? Here is a link to the current plan: http://www.mchenry.edu/emp/
Please join Dr. Tony Miksa and the EMP team during one or all of the following Lunch Roundtables - your input is highly valued. Bring a lunch and beverages will be provided:

March is Women's History Month!
For the past twelve years, Pat has quietly and effectively been creating awareness, changing behavior and opening up minds to be a greener at MCC and McHenry County. Pat managed the Lou Marchi Total Recycling Institute for many years which produces the Green Guide, McHenry County's official recycling guide, now in its seventh year. The LMTRI is the foundation for the development of the Sustainability Strategic Plan and ultimately the MCC Sustainability Center. MCC is greener and much more sustainable due to her uncompromised commitment and passion to protect our natural resources and educate current and future generations.
Today we honor Pat Dieckhoff!
