Hydroponics is an in-depth, hands-on study of hydroponic systems for growing horticultural crops and plants in indoor environments. Lecture and lab include the essentials of building a system, equipment considerations, starting and maintaining plants, and troubleshooting problems. Students learn with hands on in a greenhouse setting. Prerequisite of HRT 103 (past or current); HRT 130 and HRT 231 recommended.
