The Gardens
- Tour the McHenry County Master Gardeners' Demonstration Garden at MCC.
- Ask Master Gardeners your specific gardening questions.
- Enjoy private gardens at your own pace on a self-guided tour.
- Purchase plants from the Master Gardeners' own gardens at MCC's Demo Garden (as long as supplies last).
- All gardens will be open for viewing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Educational Opportunities
- Prairie/Native Gardening - Learn ways to establish a native garden on your property.
- Butterflies - visit our butterfly Cafe Al Fresco to find out how to attract butterflies.
- Perk up Your Garden with Coffee - Sip a cup of coffee with us and discover ways that coffee grounds can improve your garden soil.
