The Black Box Theatre at McHenry County College is proud to announce their next production of Tennessee Williams’s sizzling drama “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof”. Tennessee Williams paints an unforgettable portrait of wicked humor, sexual tension, and aching loneliness in this Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece. Southern seductress Maggie "the Cat" tangles with her husband Brick’s lack of desire and her in-laws lack of decorum as they all confront ghosts from the past and uncertainty of the future while plotting to secure their portion of the family fortune.
“Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” will open Thursday, November 5 and run November 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, and 21. All performances will begin at 7:30. Tickets are $8 for students, faculty/staff, seniors and alumni and $12 for the general public.
