Chef Andrea Murray
Chef Andrea Murray is a instructor for MCC's Culinary Managment Program. She graduated from the College of DuPage with an associate’s degree in culinary arts and a certificate in pastry arts. She has over 18 years of experience working in food service around the Chicagoland area. She enjoys teaching because it combines her love of education and her love of baking.
Chef Andi’s love of desserts blossomed early in her career, beginning with plated desserts and followed closely with cake decorating and three-dimensional cake design. She has worked in Chicago restaurants, hotels, bakeries and has owned her own bakery. Over the last 18 years, she has learned about all aspects of the baking industry.
She believes that a hands-on experience in the kitchen and education are the keys to success in the food service industry.
