- Learn about our Career of the Month.
- Meet with one of our Career Counselors.
- Browse though the books and CD’s in Career Resources (A262) and our library.

- National Career Development Association – A comprehensive website with links to occupational information, employment trends, salary information, and other career categories
- Illinois’ Career Information System – Look for a job, explore occupations
- Occupational Outlook handbook – The U.S. Department of Labor’s on-line handbook of career information
- Career Guide to Industries – The U.S. Department of Labor’s guide to information on over 40 industries accounting for over 75% of all jobs
- O*NET – The U.S. Department of Labor’s database of worker attributes and job characteristics
- America’s Career InfoNet – A comprehensive website providing national, state, and local career information sponsored by the U. S. Department of Labor
- Illinois Career Resource Network CIS – Comprehensive database of information about occupations

Research a major
- Attend seminars pertinent to your major.
- Relate majors to careers:
- Explore suggested major requirements.
- If you know your major and what school in Illinois you want to transfer to, you need Illinois Articulation Initiative Major Recommendations.
- If you know your major and where you want to go, you need transfer guides.
- If you plan to transfer to an Illinois college without completing a MCC degree, you need to know about the Illinois Articulation Initiative General Education Core Curriculum.
