Board of Trustees Meeting Schedule 2023-2024

MCC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees who are elected for staggered six-year terms, and one non-voting student trustee who serves a one-year term. As the legislative body of the College District, the Board of Trustees is responsible for the development and adoption of District policies and for making related decisions.

Board Meetings of the MCC Board of Trustees are held in Board Room, A217. These meetings are open to the public. We welcome community members and other guests however, we request visitors do not take flash photography during meetings.

• All meetings begin at 6 p.m. and generally run between one and three hours.
• Special Board meetings, Finance and Audit Committee (FAC), and Evaluation and Policy Committee (EPC) meetings are called as needed.

Committee of the Whole meetings are held nine days before the regular, monthly Board of Trustee meetings. The meeting calendar for May – April is established at each annual April Organizational meeting.
