Did you know about academic advising, counseling and the
MCC campus?
Academic Advising
Did you know that…
- In college, you meet with an academic advisor for
help with transfer and class issues rather than a guidance counselor
like you did in high school
- You should meet with an academic advisor every semester
in the Advising and Transfer Center, (ATC) which is located
in Building A, office 262
-
September and February are off-peak months in the ATC
and would be great times to meet with an academic advisor to
do transfer- and academic-planning
-
Early in the morning and Saturdays are good times to get in to
see an academic advisor
- You can e-mail an academic advisor
at advising@mchenry.edu
-
An academic advisor can help you determine where and how your
MCC coursework will transfer
