Bridget Wedoff

Bridget Wedoff is an adjunct instructor of Art History and Art Appreciation as well as a proud MCC alumna! She received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History at the University of Illinois in Urbana and her Master of Arts in Art History at Northern Illinois University.

With a specialization in Early Medieval and Byzantine art, Bridget recently presented her research on Carolingian iconoclasm at the Art Institute of Chicago Graduate Symposium, a lecture entitled “Gazing with the Mind’s Eye: Theodulf of Orlean’s Libri Carolini and his Chapel at Germigny-des-Prés.” She has also delivered “Word and Witness: a Reevaluation of the Function, Form and Imagery of Cathedra of Maximinan” at the 2009 Northern Illinois Graduate Symposium.
