Amber Larsen

Amber Larsen, an art educator, has taught for 18 years in the private and public school systems of McHenry and Lake County. She holds a BA from Western Illinois University and an MFA from Aurora University, Illinois.

Larsen has owned and operated the Creative Artistry Fine Arts School in in Crystal Lake, Illinois since 2008, giving instruction in a vast amount of mediums. She has been featured in McHenry County Magazine and the Northwest Herald. She also teaches art appreciation at MCC.

She has shown her art at Lakeside Legacy Arts Park, LaPetite Marche, and Western Illinois University as well as producing large student exhibitions. She performs commissioned portraiture and landscapes in addition to producing her own mixed media collage works.
