Sherman's March to The Sea: The Rail Of Death and Destruction That Saved The Union

150 years ago today Gen. William Sherman led one of the most remarkable, important and deadly military campaign in history. With the support of President Lincoln and General Grant, Sherman had led nearly 100,000 men south to cut the Confederacy in half and capture Atlanta. From there, his army became an isolated column in the heart of an enemy's country as the marched to the coast to capture Savannah. Hos successful and controversial tactics changed warfare forever.  National award winning storyteller/historian Barry Bradford will bring his unique dramatic touch to the story of the campaign that helped end slavery and save America.
