Kim Keefe

2013 Distinguished Alumni Award Recipient

Kim Keefe is a real estate broker for RE/MAX Plaza and is also serving as the 2013 President of the Illinois State Chapter of the Women’s Council of REALTORS, where her work is to empower women to exercise their potential as entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

She is the Immediate Past President of the Heartland REALTOR Organization and serves on numerous committees with the Illinois Association of REALTORS, in order to protect our private property rights and to stay highly educated in the field.  Her work with the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life helped to increase participation from 11 teams to over 100 teams in a two year period.  While she claims that her favorite job has been raising an amazing daughter, she has also found time to sell enough homes to be named to the RE/MAX Hall of Fame, and is a Top 20 REALTOR in McHenry County.  She is a ten-year member of the Woodstock Parks and Recreation Commission and worked on the Groundhog Day Committee for ten years, as well.  Kim has also been named as a Top 10 Under 40 from the Business Journal and is a supporter to many community events and charities.

Kim graduated from McHenry County College with an Associate of Science degree and was the first student to receive a sports and academic scholarship for volleyball, basketball and softball.
