Health, Wellness and Athletic Center Benefits to Fitness Center Program

As a college and community fitness facility the Health, Wellness & Athletic Center will allow for expanding programming and services for our students and community members. MCC students will use the Fitness Center as: students in credit classes, members of the Fitness Center, or as a teaching lab for the Fitness Instructor Training program and Associates Degree in Health and Human Performance. These accredited programs provide for classroom and hands on education in the Fitness Center for students who wish to become personal trainers. Community members may also take credit courses that use the Fitness Center or become a member of the Fitness Center.

Here Bill Allerheiligen, Director of Fitness Center, discusses the benefits of the proposed Health and Wellness Athletic Center.
