ABC (Academics, Business and Community) is a series, designed to bring the community together to explore the compelling issues of the day.
The ABC Breakfast Series is hosted by the Friends of MCC Foundation and the Corporate and Continuing Education Division at McHenry County College.
Cost: $25.00 per person or $250.00 for a table of ten
ABC Breakfasts are held in the College multipurpose room, Building A. Doors open at 7 a.m., breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m., and the half-hour long address begins at 8 a.m. followed by a 15-minute question and answer period.

For many years, Tierney Cahill lived with fear. Fear of not making it month to month financially, fear of not having enough time, not having enough for her family, and fear that she could never change a life she felt stuck in. As a teacher, she promised her students that they could become anything they dreamed, as long as they took responsibility for their lives. When her students challenged her to run for Congress, they forced Cahill to take responsibility for her life, and to make changes that would forever change her.
