Sage Learning Center (SLC)

Anyone registered at McHenry County College for credit course(s) in a given semester can use the SLC.
The SLC is a full-service learning center where we provide a variety of tutoring options, small group possibilities, and technology-based learning assistance. Faculty and peer tutors meet with you on a drop-in basis, as well as by appointment. We provide our most comprehensive support in Math, English and writing. However, we can also assist in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

Twenty-four Sage Learning Center and Special Needs Department tutors earned their individual certification by completing 10 hours of skill training and by providing a minimum of 25 hours of tutoring to MCC students.
