How can I pay tution using Nelnet?

  1. You will need:
    • *Student I.D. and pin number
    • Credit card or debit card number, a checking or savings account bank routing and account number

    *To get your student I.D. and pin number, bring a photo I.D. to the registration department or call (815) 455-8588 to have the information sent to your home address. Student I.D. and pin numbers will not be given over the phone.

  2. Visit www.mchenry.edu/register
  3. Login with your student I.D. and pin number.
  4. Choose the appropriate semester/term.
  5. Click the "Account Balance" tab then scroll to the bottom and click the "e-Cashier" icon.
  6. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "e-Cashier" icon to connect to the Nelnet website.

Fall 2008

e-Cashier available on March 21. Tuition is due July 24. After July 24, students must pay in full at time of registration or enroll in Nelnet that same day. Full payments may be made on e-Cashier through September 19 using a checking or savings account.

Spring 2009

e-Cashier available on October 31. Tuition is due November 20. After November 20, students must pay in full at time of registration or enroll in Nelnet that same day. Full payments may be made on e-Cashier through February 13 using a checking or savings account.
