McHenry County College has named Terri Berryman, Ph.D., as executive dean of Workforce and Community Development. She began her role on September 15, 2014. In her role at MCC, Berryman oversees the areas of Continuing and Professional Education, Adult Education and the Shah Center for Corporate Training and Workforce Development.

McHenry County College received a $10,000 grant from the McHenry County Community Foundation that allows student veterans to purchase books and supplies for the fall semester. The grant bridges the gap between the veterans' GI Bill benefits and receipt of military funds for books.
