MCC Art Exhibition "NEW HIRES" To Open at Satellite Gallery at Old Courthouse Arts Center »

The McHenry County College art exhibition, NEW HIRES, featuring the work of new adjunct faculty at the Satellite Gallery, located in the Old Courthouse Arts Center in downtown Woodstock, will open Nov. 1 with a reception from 5-7 p.m. The exhibit runs through Jan. 20, 2019.

MCC to Offer FAFSA Financial Aid Workshop Sessions »

McHenry County College is hosting three separate hands-on workshops for students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Workshops are available from 6-7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and 7 or from 1-3 p.m. Nov. 12. A detailed email will be sent to students after they have registered online.

The McHenry County College Board of Trustees recently approved a flat tax levy for the sixth year in a row, saving taxpayers more than $20 per homeowner over six years, while offering a massive economic impact to the college district.

MCC plans to install a solar field next summer, broadening the college's ongoing commitment to reduce its environmental footprint and to act in a fiscally responsible manner. The 875-kWh solar field will provide 27% of the college's energy use.
