McHenry County College's Continuing Education Department is offering unique gardening classes this spring on hot topics, including permaculture and edible foraging.
The following classes are available:
Introduction to Permaculture: Introduction to Permaculture or "permanent agriculture" is more than a gardening system. It is an entire system of planning, design, and farming sustainably and as a design system that can be used in many different contexts such as building and community planning. Join this class to learn much more about Permaculture. Class takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 in Room E100. Cost is $19. Use course code: NPG S56 002 to register.
Edible Foraging and Landscaping: Learn the many aspects of eating local beyond the vegetable garden.
